Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship

Develop research projects in the areas of Epidemiology, Public Health, Social and Behavioral Sciences applied to Cariology, under the mentorship of Drs. Anderson Hara, Gerardo Maupomé and Adam Hirsh.
The position will entail a 90% research focus, with the remaining 10% dedicated to education and training of dental and graduate students. Opportunities for professional development are abundant.

PhD degree in Dental Sciences, Epidemiology, Public Health, or Social and Behavioral Sciences applied to health (or closely related fields), as well as a growing track record of scientific products in peer-reviewed journals. Experience in website/online survey development tools is highly desirable. A working knowledge of Dental Caries and Erosive Tooth Wear is preferable, but not required. The successful candidate is expected to have excellent communication/writing skills in English and to be an active contributor to collaborative research within an interdisciplinary team.

The appointment will be for a period of one year, with the possibility of a one year extension subject to satisfactory performance review and funding environment. An annual stipend of US$47,484 plus full benefits will be provided.
